D was born and raised in Houston, Texas. A lifelong Texan, BBQ simply, is in his blood. When he moved to San Francisco, he just wanted a BBQ beef sandwich.

But nothing he found tasted like home. So he brought Houston to San Francisco.

Houston and San Francisco aren’t usually compared together, but both cities are diverse melting pots of many cultures. We take inspiration from D’s Texan-Mexican and Mrs. D’s Asian heritage to come up with familiar favorites we loved eating as kids, but infuse them with Texas BBQ as the heart.

Smokin D’s is a taste of OUR home.
