We started with a dream and a brisket sandwich.
No really, D just wanted a proper Texas BBQ beef brisket sandwich after moving from Houston to San Francisco. But he couldn’t find anything that hit the spot… so he fired up a smoker, and the rest is history.
What began as a humble pop-up at breweries and SF farmers markets turned into a full-blown flavor operation. In 2024, we landed our permanent home in the Outer Sunset, and we’ve been smokin’ up the neighborhood ever since.
Our BBQ is a blend of who we are—Texan, Mexican, and Asian. It’s not traditional, but it’s personal. We serve what we grew up eating, with Texas-style barbecue at the heart of every plate (or bao bun).
